Dominique Millien-Arrieux

Dominique Millien-Arrieux was born in Haiti and moved to the United States with her family in the 1960s, growing up in New York. Today, she resides in West Palm Beach, Florida. Her connection to École de L’Enfant Jésus (Child Jesus School) has deep family roots. Growing up, Dominique witnessed her mother, Bernadette Millien, devote her time and talents alongside Fr. Vidal Martínez, OSM, in support of the school and its children.

Following the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Dominique drew upon her experience in youth development to create and lead a two-week arts and recreation camp for the children of Child Jesus School. Since then, she has returned to the school multiple times, supporting its mission through fundraising, distributing school supplies, and developing initiatives to provide students with much-needed school shoes. She has also helped create meaningful cultural exchanges by bringing together young people from the United States and students at Child Jesus School.

Dominique brings more than 25 years of experience in youth development and early childhood education. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing quality programs and creating meaningful opportunities for children and families. As Director of Quality Improvement, she played a key role in convening community stakeholders to develop Palm Beach County’s afterschool standards, Quality Improvement System, and assessment process. In her current role as Director of Quality Assurance, she oversees compliance monitoring for the county’s childcare providers, helping ensure the implementation of best practices and high-quality care for the children they serve.

A recognized leader in her field, Dominique has presented at local and national conferences, sharing her expertise in quality improvement systems, performance standards, and compliance measures. She considers it a privilege to serve on the Child Jesus School Steering Committee, bringing her experience, passion, and dedication to advancing the school’s mission and expanding opportunities for the children and families it serves.
